CBI chief Alok Verma was sent on forced leave yesterday. There has been row over this as he was handling some sensitive cases which also included that of Rafale deal. Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh spoke exclusively to The Bolta Hindustan on CBI row and Rafale deal. 

Sanjay Singh said that he had filed a complaint on March 12 on Rafale Deal to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). He also wrote to Central Vigilance Commissioner (CVC) chairman about the same.

Later, Sanjay Singh received a letter from CVC which stated that his complaint has been considered. His complaint was sent to Secretary Ministry of Defence for further investigation. According to Sanjay, Modi government didn’t wanted the investigation in Rafale deal to proceed.

AAP MP also questioned the appointment of Rakesh Asthana as Special Director of CBI. Asthana was a junior officer who was involved in bribary cases. Sanjay claimed that Asthana had also defended Narendra Modi in Gujrarat riots case.

Talking to the Bolta Hindustan he also explained ‘why Rafale Deal should be Investigated and How is Rafale deal connected to the CBI row.’
