Uttar Pradesh police has been in news for doing encounters, or rather ‘fake encounters’. The same ‘brave’ UP police is now in news for being thrashed by a BJP councillor Manish Kumar.
A video is going viral on internet where a man can be seen beating a policeman. Actually, the whole matter is of Meerut. BJP councillor namely Manish Kumar can be seen beating UP Police’s sub-inspector in the video. Manish Kumar has now been arrested.
Actually, Sub-inspector Sukhpal went to a hostel with a female advocate. Sukhpal and lawyer got into a scuffle with a waiter over delay in food service. Hotel manager called the BJP councillor Manish Kumar who further got into fight with the inspector.

Manish not only abused the sub-inspector who was in uniform; he even thrashed him. Manish even misbehaved with the female lawyer present at the scene. BJP councillor was after lawyer approached the police.
BJP leader Manish Kumar is councillor from Meerut’s ward number 40. He has alleged that cop and lawyer were drinking beer in the hotel. The fight started after hotel staff asked them not to do so in the hotel premises.
On the other hand, lawyer is denying the allegations. She said that they were not drinking beer. Instead, she went to meet sub-inspector to discuss on a case.
The brawl was started between the waiter and both lawyer and sub-inspector. Finally, BJP councillor himself misbehaved and took law in his hands. Instead, of informing police about the fight the councillor chose to thrash a policeman in uniform.
