PM Modi-led committee removes Alok Verma from his CBI chief post, Is govt afraid of his actions?

Alok Verma once again came into action after handling the post of CBI director. However, he has been removed from his post by PM Modi-led select committee. Committee member Kharge has opposed his sacking. He has now been made DG of fire services.

This is a new addition to the CBI vs CBI controversy. According to media reports, a three-member committee which included PM Modi has decided to remove Alok Verma from his post.

After this, Alok Verma went to Supreme Court which restored his post but banned him from taking any policy decisions.

It is to note that Alok Verma transferred 5 officials from his office today.
