Lok Sabha elections are about to take place. Only 20 days are left in the first phase of elections. All the political parties have started declaring names of their candidates. Opposition parties are asking BJP to respond to the promises that they made in 2014.
The ruling BJP is playing the ‘Chowkidar’ game. From Prime Minister Modi to Defense Minister, Foreign Minister, Law Minister, Finance Minister and many other ministers as well as supporters have added Chowkidar in front of their names on social media.
In midst of all this The Caravan has made a big disclosure of some ‘chowkidars’ of BJP on 22 March. According to The Caravan’s report, some of the BJP’s big chowkidars have done corruption in crores.
It has been alleged that a diary from former Karnataka CM and senior BJP leader BS Yeddyurappa has revealed that he has given crores of rupees to LK Advani, Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, Murli Manohar Joshi, Arun Jaitley … etc.

According to the diary, BS Yeddyurappa for becoming CM of Karnataka gave LK Advani Rs 50 crore, Rs 100 crore to Rajnath Singh, Rs 150 crore to Nitin Gadkari, Rs 50 crore to Murli Manohar Joshi, Rs 150 crore to Arun Jaitley, Rs 250 crore for judges, 50 crore for lawyers, Rs 10 crore in the marriage of Nitin Gadkari’s son and Rs 1000 crore to BJP Central Committee.
It is claimed that in the diary the signature of Yeddyurappa is there which corresponds to his handwriting. The diary was available near the Income Tax Department from August 2017.
