UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya has surrendered himself in the court. The reasons for his surrender was due to violation of code of conduct and a 10-year-old case of Durga Pandal committee. Court released him after keeping him under legal custody for 3 hours.

The case was heard in Allahabad’ MP-MLA special court. There was warrant released against Keshav Maurya in 3 cases. One of the case was of printing fake pad in Durga Puja to get money illegally. This case was dates back to 22 December, 2008. The case was registered under sections 420, 467 and 468.

The case of violation of code of conduct againt Maurya has been registered in Prayagraj’s Dhumanganj police station. Another case of fraud is registered in Kaushambi’s Mohabbatpur Painsa police station. Along with this, he is also accused in a lawsuit related to another case filed in Prayagraj’s Kedganj police station. asa

Keshav told journalists after getting bail that, “We work in public sphere, due to this cases get registered on political people. I came to court as there was no bail given in the case.”

Today was date of hearing of 3 cases registered against Deputy CM Keshav Maurya: Advocate of MP-MLA Court. Court has accepted the bail application which was filed by Keshav. Next date of case hearing is on 10 January 2019.
