Lok Sabha elections are around-the-corner and parties have started preparing to woo their voters. The national capital, Delhi, is also witnessing a lot of changes in the political arena. Aam Aadmi Party has declared its candidates for 6 seats from Delhi for Lok Sabha elections.
There will be no alliance with Congress. Candidature for 7th seat of West Delhi is still under discussion. The declared candidates were already in-charge of the respective seats.
East Delhi- Atishi Marlena
Atishi Marlena is the member of Political Affairs Committee of AAP. She came in news after the Union Ministory of Home Affairs decided to remove 10 AAP advisors. She was advisor to Manish Sisodia and was said to be advising him on education sector.
South Delhi- Raghav Chaddha
He is also member of Political Affairs Committee. One can often see him TV debates as he is the national spokesperson of Aam Aadmi Party. He was also an advisor to Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, but for preparing budget. Arvind Kejriwal had already started campaigning for Raghav for elections.
Chandni Chowk- Pankaj Gupta
He is national secretary along with being member of Political Affairs Committee. He is an important person who has remained with the party since its beginning. He plays very important role in the party.
North East Delhi- Dilip Pandey
He describes himself as activist and author on social media. He says he wants to change ‘Rajneeti’ to ‘Jan-neeti’.
North West Delhi- Gugan Singh
He was earlier a leader of Bharatiya Janata Party. He later joined AAP in 2017 just before Bawana by-poll. He will also be contesting for Lok Sabha elections.
New Delhi- Brijesh Goel
New Delhi is an important seat of Delhi and Brijesh Goel will be fighting Lok Sabha elections from this seat. He had earlier claimed that Kejriwal’s 4 year are more fruitful than Modi’s 5 years.
Well, only election results will tell who will be voted by citizens for taking charge as government.
