Gautam Navlakha has been granted interim relief till 1st November. Bombay High court has given a big relief to him after he was accused in Bhima Koregaon case. Gautam Navlakha is a human rights activist.

Bombay High Court has asked Pune Police to not take any coercive action against Gautam Navlakha. Earlier, Supreme Court gave decision to keep him under house arrest for 4 weeks. That time has lapsed now. Gautam is free until November 1 which also date of next hearing.

He had appealed to Bombay HC regarding FIR registered against him by Pune police. He was arrested in regard to Bhima Koregaon case. However, there is no interim relief to other people arrested in the case. Arun Ferreira and Vernon Gonsalves have not got any relief from Bombay HC.

Actually, 5 people were arrested by Pune Police alleging their links with CPI (Maoist). It also said that they have the role in inciting violence in Bhima Koregaon case. These 5 individuals are Gautam Navlakha, Varavara Rao, Sudha Bhardwaj, Arun Ferreira and Vernon Gonsalves.
