Nowadays, those who give information about the country’s intelligence protection are being arrested on the charges of espionage. Earlier, a joint team of UP ATS and Mumbai Police arrested Nishant Agarwal for his alleged involvement in espionage. Nishant was working in DRDO’s BrahMos unit.
Now, a soldier named Kanchan Singh has been arrested from Meerut on charges of espionage.

According to media reports, the soldier has been arrested from Meerut Cantonment on the charges of espionage. Inquiry is process. Kanchan Singh has been alleged with spilling out military intelligence information.

Earlier, Nishant Agrawal had also been arrested on the charges of espionage. Nishant was accused of giving out intelligence information related to BrahMos to the Pakistani agency ISI.
Also, last month a BSF trooper Achyutanand Mishra was arrested for spying for Pakistan. UP ATS says that Pakistan intelligence agency ISI is making fake IDs of girls to trap central forces in order to do spying.
