As the Lok Sabha elections are coming near, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi has become more active in politics. She is doing road shows in Uttar Pradesh to promote her party. She recently visited Ayodhya.
During this, she addressed public in Ayodhya’s Hanuman Garhi where she attacked BJP leader Narendra Modi and his party. She said that, Modi travels whole world be it China or America. However, he doesn’t has time to visit his own Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi.
Priyanka said, “Does Modiji visits each and every village of Varanasi, No. He has no time to visit his own constituency, meet families over there and hug them. He usually go and do a lot of promotion, so I thought whether he does anything or not. The situation is that he doesn’t get time for his own constituency. This is not a small thing.”
She alleged that BJP is stealing employment from people. She further added that BJP is not even giving money to people who were working under MANREGA which was a scheme launched by Congress party to provide employment. This didn’t happened by mistake, this was done intentionally. This is a government which steals employment from you, said Priyanka Gandhi.
Congress has announced NYAY scheme during their campaign for Lok Sabha elections. When the announcement was made, BJP said that this is false promise as country doesn’t has money for this. However, Priyanka Gandhi said that this government had money to waive-off Rs 317 crore loans of businessmen. If Congress talks about the poor, then BJP says there is no money for them.
