Supreme Court is hearing the review petitions related to Rafale deal case. During the court hearing Attorney General said on the behalf of government that the documents which are being trusted by Prashant Bhushan were actually stolen from ‘Defence Ministry’.

Chief justice Gogoi had questioned Attorney General that why didn’t government do any probe after the documents were stolen? Prime Minister Modi may call himself as ‘Chowkidar’ but important documents related to Rafale deal get stolen during his tenure. This highlights the security lapse on the part of the government.

Public is also reacting to this story of ‘Stolen Rafale Documents’. Dhruv Rathee wrote, ‘Now even impossible is possible. Modi hai to mumkin hai.”

Congress leader Randeep Surjewala responded by saying, “Proof of corruption and unjust enrichment in Rafale is out in open.” while sharing another story by The Hindu.

Attorney General said that SC should not do any probe in this matter which is being picked up for political gains. This means that he is more concerned with politics that national security.
