There has been change of ‘regime’ in Rajasthan but there has been no change in the conditions. In the Bhilwara district of Rajasthan, body of a labourer was found burnt yesterday. The dead body has turned into ashes.

The name of dead labourer is Gangaram. He belonged to Dalit community and used to work in Kailash mines for past three years. Kailash mining belongs to a leader of Congress party which is currently ruling in the state. Police is trying to ignore the case by terming it suicide. However, family of deceased are alleging that there is a foul play.

Rajasthan’s well known social worker Bhanwar Meghwanshi wrote on facebook about this issue as follows:-

Poor worker was burnt alive! Dalit worker Gangaram Balai, who worked as a horticulturist on a mine of a Congress leader in Tilswa of Bhilwara district (Rajasthan), was burnt alive by hanging from a tree.

He expressed doubts on the death of Gangaram. He wrote, “Deceased was illiterate. How can he write a suicide note? He was unmarried then why did he mentioned about his daughter in the note?”

Actually, Police had said that they found a suicide note along with dead body. The note read that Gangaram was hurt by death of his daughter.

Also, how can a suicide note remain as it is in his pocket while he was burnt? All this raises questions on police investigation.
