Election Commission had suspended IAS officer Mohammad Mohsin for searching helicopter of PM Narendra Modi. Now, CAT has stopped the suspension of Mohsin and the case will be heard on 3rd June. Mohsin was alleged of not adhering to the Election Commission’s directive to SPG security.

According to the media reports, PM Modi had reached an election rally in Sambalpur, Odisha on Tuesday. At that time, a team of Election Commission searched for his helicopter. The team was led by IAS officer Mohammad Mohsin.

The Election Commission had suspended Mohammad Mohsin, calling the search operation against the rules.

In the suspension order, the Election Commission has said that Mohammad Mohsin did not follow the prescribed instructions for SPG security dignitaries and the suspension was implemented with immediate effect.
