More than 40 CRPF soldiers became martyr in the IED blast in the Pulwama area of Jammu and Kashmir. Attackers have targeted security forces. Jaish-e-Mohammad has taken responsibility of the attack.
But, this attack is also a result of ignoring alert notification of the possible attack. There was no security even at a place where around 2,500 soldiers were staying at a camp, said Om Thanvi.
On contrary, BJP spokesperson was shouting on TV media that, We will remove Pakistan from map of the world. Even some TV anchors went on to say that ‘destruction of Pakistan is important to stop terrorism.’ But, terrorism is not limited to Pakistan. India has already engaged in war with Pakistan ample amount of times. Even if it won, there was loss of lives. War is always a threat to national security which will destroys both nations, some suffer more than other.
People who provoke others for war create a myth of nationalism, after all war will only invite a condition which will lead to more deaths. This has become an ongoing battle between India and Pakistan which is not only used for political gains but also for business.
Om Thanvi also said that ‘The solution of terrorism doesn’t lie in revenge. If this would have been the case then surgical strikes would have already stopped it.’
Today’s attack was one of the biggest one which took place during rule of Modi government. Opposition leaders have condemned the attack while questioning the lapse in security.
