Prime Minister Modi addressed people of the country from 11:45 am to 12.00 am this morning. But due to the cabinet meeting, the address was delayed. When PM Modi came live, he said that just in a short time India has achieved an unprecedented achievement.
He said that India has made a place as superpower of the space. This has been achieved by three countries in the world namely USA, Russia and China. Now, India has made its name in this list too.
This means that India can now attack the satellite of the enemies in the space. This power has been achieved by three other nations in the world.
PM Modi said that in the space of 300 kilometers away, LEO Orbit satellite has been destroyed. It was a predetermined goal and it was achieved within three minutes. This was a very difficult operation which has been achieved. We congratulate our scientists for this.
Taking a dig at this, NDTV journalist Sreenivasan Jain tweeted, “Couldn’t the scientists have announced this?”

There are others from opposition parties as well who are raising questions on announcement of this piece of information by the prime minister instead of scientists. They claim that this can be an election strategy of the ruling party.
