Jet Airways is facing a financial crisis. As a result, it has temporarily stopped its service after 25 years. Jet Airways employees organized a protest against this at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar.

The demonstrators are asking Modi government to help them out. These people say that if the government does not help them then they will not help the ruling party in the election. The protesters gave the slogan ‘No Job, No Vote’.

The group of SBI-led banks have refused to give Rs 400 crore to Jet Airways. The Jet Airways flight flew for the last time from Amritsar to Mumbai on Wednesday night. If the company shuts down due to the ongoing financial crisis, then 20 thousand people will lose their jobs. Employees held protest on Jantar-Mantar to save their jobs.

A Jet employee while speaking to Bolta Hindustan, said, “If this company closes, then where will we go from here? We have landed on the ground. We ask Modi Ji if he can not help our company with Rs 1500 crore to save us?”

The employee said, “Modi talks about unemployment on one side and on the other side he has made 20 thousand people unemployed, he has brought them on the road.We appeal him to solve this problem as soon as possible.”

Employees also said that this will have an impact on the Lok Sabha elections. They said that this lives of 20 thousand people is danger due to this problem. If the government does not solve it, its impact will definitely be visible in Lok Sabha elections.

The employees, while questioning SBI, said that when they promised to give 1500 crores to Jet Airways, then why did they not give the money? If SBI could not fulfill the promise, why did it take responsibility in the first place? The group of SBI-led banks did not fulfill the commitments promised to give Rs 1500 crore to Jet Airways.

It is worth mentioning that the company, which had lost about Rs 4,244 crore last year has not paid salary to pilots, maintenance engineers and senior management officials since January. Other employees were being paid partial salaries, but they have not even received the salary of March.
