Upendra Kushwaha who has been Minister in BJP government can now join the ‘Mahagathbandhan’. He will do a press conference on this.
Other ministers like RJD’s Tejashwi, HAM’s Jitan Ram Manjhi and leaders of Congress party will also be present in the conference. Sharad Yadav will also be present there.
Upendra Kushwaha has been doing meetings with Congress leaders for the past few days. So, there have been speculations that he will be a part of Mahagathbandhan.
Actually, there has been quite a ruckus in NDA over seat distribution. That’s why Kushwaha first left NDA and then Ram Vilas Paswan’s son Chirag Paswan appreciated Rahul Gandhi.
“This is first round talks between Upendra Kushwaha and Congress. Our party is hoping for positive results”, said RLSP party spokesperson Fazal Imam Malik
RLSP had fought elections in last Lok Sabha elections in alliance with NDA. They had won 3 seats at that time. As Nitish Kumar came in NDA, tensions within both parties increased.
Later, Kushwaha’s party was offered to fight on 2 seats instead of 3 after which he broke the alliance with NDA.
