There are debates on whether Rafale deal is ‘deal’ or a ‘scam’. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also attacked PM Modi on the same in a press conference.
Now, AAP leader Sanjay Singh has done a press conference to raise questions of Rafale deal. He alleged that Modi governement lied to Supreme Court. He also demanded formation of JPC and investigation by same in Rafale case.
Sanjay Singh said that honourable Supreme Court was ‘mis-informed’ after which it gave the verdict.
It is to note that CAG report was supposed to come during monsoon session. However, ot was proposed to come in winter session after seeing the gravity of the situation.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitely himself said that the case should be investigated by CAG, but deal won’t get scrapped.
Supreme Court has dismissed all the PIL’s filed in relation to Rafale deal. SC said that court didn’t find any reason to interfere in defence deal.
This is a big step-back for Congress and other opposition parties who have been constantly raising questions on the deal.
