The 10th class Agra girl who was set ablaze by bike riders has died. She was shifted to Safdarjung Hospital after her situation turned critical, but burn injuries took her life.
She was returning to home from school on Tuesday. It was then that bike riders poured petrol on her and set her on fire. She suffered facial burns and breathing-pipe also got burnt due to smoke and fumes. She was unable to breathe.
According to Safdarjung Hospital doctor, she was put on a ventilator late night but died at 1:30 am. Accused is on run.
UP CM Yogi Adityanath and his party had made claims that women security will be priority. Even after that, such barbaric cases are coming from the state. Another girl who was going to her coaching center was gangraped in Agra.
